Drive by Shootings

What are Drive-by Shootings?

They are photographs that I take from a moving vehicle. This usually means the dashboard of my Land Rover. Day or Night. Passenger or driver. The idea is to capture a fleeting glimpse of something that usually passes us by. To freeze time and motion.

Below is a video called BLINK featuring over 2000 of my Drive by Shootings. The track is Gristle by Digi-Scum. Please click to play and maximise to full view;

According to the folder in my computer I took my first Drive-by Shooting on the 31st of January, 2004. I have over 5,000 images in the folder. This might sound like a lot of pictures but it's not really when you consider I have taken over 140,000 photographs!

Some of these images will form part of a nightclub that I have designed. They will be printed on vinyl up to 12 metres wide and backlit with colour changers.

The work is for sale if anyone has an interior or other project that would suit them. I can have them printed almost any size or made into stretched canvas. I also hope to have an exhibition of the series in the next few years.
